This is a charcoal drawing of Park Jimin from BTS in one of his solo performances. The drawing is in charcoal and the background is done with black paint. Jimin danced with a large cloth, and that drew me in and made me want to recreate the image. This was my first time drawing with charcoal, and I really enjoy it and recommend it. I blended everything with a small paintbrush. I learned how to blend and learned that going darker is okay as you can easily bring the highlights back out with a kneaded eraser and white charcoal. It's not the final piece I imagined, however I am excited to practice more with charcoal and improve/recreate this piece.
